I had been holding onto this fabric for a while waiting for the right project.
I found this pattern on Burdastyle 5/2010 Dress with ruffle sleeve and instantly knew it would be perfect. I added hand embroidered loops to the center front instead of buttonholes and added a ruffle to the hem. I love the flouncy feeling of it. The fabric was bought from Tessuti in Melbourne. They have gorgeous fabrics.
